Human Rights Policy

As a member of the global automotive component industry, Whetron Electronics deeply understands the importance of human rights protection within the enterprise. We promise to follow the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights,” “International Labour Conventions,” “United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights,” and “Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct” and other international human rights standards. We implement respect and protection of human rights in daily operations and the value chain to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of all employees (including dispatched and contracted personnel) and board members. The human rights policy is described as follows:
1.Respect and Equal Treatment
Resolutely opposing any form of discrimination, including but not limited to race, gender, age, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, appearance, or physical/mental disabilities. Dedicated to creating a diverse, fair, and inclusive workplace environment.
2.Prohibition of Forced and Child Labor
We do not use any form of forced labor, slavery, bonded labor, or involuntary labor, nor do we tolerate the employment of child labor under the legal minimum working age. We also conduct necessary investigations on suppliers to ensure they meet relevant laws and ethical standards.
3.Protection of Labor Rights
Providing reasonable working hour arrangements, fair compensation, and a safe and healthy work environment; respecting employees’ right to freedom of association; and actively preventing workplace harassment, violence, or other acts that infringe on personal dignity.
4.Workplace Health and Safety
Complying with occupational safety and health laws and regulations, periodically conducting risk assessments and education training, ensuring that all employees do not suffer physical or mental harm due to unsafe factors during work.
5.Privacy and Personal Data Protection
Respecting the privacy rights of employees and all stakeholders, processing and protecting personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and preventing unauthorized access or misuse.
